Yuntai Mountain is a Chinese National Geo-park. It is located in Xiuwu county of Jiaozuo city in Henan province, China. The area is famed for its unusual rock formations and waterfalls. The largest waterfall has a drop of 314 metres. The park area contains many attractions each of which has it's own ticketed entry. Only one ticket is required for the whole park, but this ticket must be shown when entering each area. The park's areas include Red Stone Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Cornel Peak, Wanshou Temple, Quanpu Gorge, Zifang Lake and Macaque Valley. Visitors should note that between May and October, the park can be extremely crowded, spoiling some of the atmosphere. The park is open all year round and spring and autumn may offer better views than the height of summer.
