Russian Street is a 400 metre street in the north of the old part of Dalian. Here there are several old buildings that date back to the start of the 20th century, when Dalian was a Russian city. The street consists of many old buildings. However, these are not used and some in bad repair. In front of the buildings are a large number of market stalls selling a great many tourist souvenirs with a Russian twist to them. These souvenirs are the same as you find sold in the tourist parts of Harbin. (another city with Russian connections in the Heilongjiang region, in the far Northeast of China.) There is little other than souvenirs to see here.
