Ngong Ping 360 is a spectacular cable route that runs from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping village offering visitors spectacular views of North Lantau Island Country Park. Though not for people with vertigo, this is an extra special event that shouldn't be missed. At the destination point of Ngong Ping village, there are a selection of tourist shops, restaurants and cafes. Just along the road a little is the Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Big Buddha which are worth the trip in themselves.

The Ngong Ping village also contains some theatres and cinemas that put on shows suitable for young and old alike. Personally, I opted for the cable car only ticket and skipped the shows, spending my time at the Buddha temple and restaurants.

There are a verity of tickets available. Two different cable cars are used. A regular car and a glass bottomed car. My first impression was that the glass bottom was not worth the extra money. However, I noticed that the queue for the glass bottomed Crystal cars, moved significantly faster than the regular queue. In the height of summer, if the queue are long, it may be worth the slightly higher price just to be able to jump the queue lines.
