Altar For Airing Scriptures At Tongtianhe River
The Tongtianhe River, once known as Yak River, runs for over 1,000km through Yushu Grassland. The Tongtainhe ferry crossing was a key route between Tibet and China proper. Here you can find a huge rock which was a site for laying scriptures in the sun to cleans them in ancient times.
